The 2023 Expanded Northwest Provinces Community Tourism Village Festival in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province held from November 17-19, 2023 at Lac village community yard, Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.

The festival had the participation of 10 tourist villages of provinces and units including: Hoa Binh, Son La, Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh and Vietnam Airlines Corporation with the participation of  10 districts, cities of Hoa Binh and Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association. The Festival includes activities on booth display competitions to introduce Cultural - Tourism products, souvenirs, and OCOP products; Community tourism culinary competition; Demonstration of some traditional crafts, folk games and a beautiful photo exhibition of the Northwest provinces in 2023.

Participated in exhibiting booths at the Festival, Vietnam Airlines (VNA) arranged four booths to provide information on product and service policies. All customers who visit Vietnam Airlines' product display booth receive souvenirs. At the event, Vietnam Airlines organized a number of main activities: Organizing mini games to answer questions, enhancing interaction to introduce Vietnam Airlines products and services. Develop golden lotus membership for customers who regularly use Vietnam Airlines services to accumulate flight rewards and exchange rewards for preferential services for members. For large business organizations, Vietnam Airlines has also contacted and introduced Vietnam Airlines' large customer program to optimize travel for businesses participating in the program. The expanded Northwest Provinces Community Tourism Village Festival 2023 attracted more than 1,000 tourists and residents to visit the display booth and more than 200 visitors registered to join the regular customer program of Vietnam Airlines.

Previously, in March 2022, Vietnam Airlines and the People's Committee of Hoa Binh province officially signed a comprehensive cooperation agreement for the period 2022 - 2026. Accordingly, large-scale local tourism events such as festivals, tourism festivals, tourism fairs, tourism seminars, roadshow, famtrip, presstrip programs, events welcoming the first tourists of the year or special events, etc. using Vietnam Airlines' aviation services. In addition, the two sides also coordinate to organize seminars and conferences to promote tourism development in particular and economic development cooperation in general in accordance with the goals. In addition, Hoa Binh province and Vietnam Airlines also coordinate to organize or participate in national and regional educational, cultural, sports and tourism events. The two sides coordinate to support the organization of cultural exchange events, sports, tourism, cuisine, and festivals in Hoa Binh province; organize delegations of athletes to train and compete abroad, and international sports tournaments organized and hosted by Hoa Binh province. Hoa Binh province's working groups promoting and investing in domestic and foreign tourism and other transportation activities will also be supported. Vietnam Airlines encourages the use and has preferential policies on passenger ticket prices and air baggage transport rates for tourism businesses and domestic and foreign partners of the province when organizing working groups for the purpose of promoting tourism, trade and investment in the period 2022 - 2026.

In 2024, Hoa Binh province will continue to coordinate with Vietnam Airlines to promote propaganda and promotion, connecting products and services to improve the effectiveness of cooperation programs, contributing to promoting tourism services and tourism. Aviation is increasingly developing.
