Notable events include Hoa Binh Marathon 2024, scheduled to be held on March 3, 2024, promising to attract a large number of athletes to experience routes connected with landmarks in Hoa Binh city area. Another event is the Vietnam Ultra Marathon 2024, expected to take place on March 23, 2024, in Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province. This significant sports tourism event will draw numerous athletes to experience Mai Chau, aiming to build a brand, enhance the tourism image of Mai Chau specifically and Hoa Binh in general. It aims to include Mai Chau in the list of locations hosting trail running races in the Vietnam trail running event program.
