Performing traditional costumes of ethnic groups is one of the activities within the framework of the expanded Northwest Provinces Community Tourism Village Festival in 2023.

10 community tourism villages brought to the Festival a performance of unique national costumes, imbued with national identity. Villages have chosen to send artisans to perform at the Festival beautiful, typical traditional costumes of ethnic groups at tourist destinations such as: Muong, Thai, Tay, Dao, Mong, Lo Lo ethnic costumes. Many community tourist villages illustrated with images and comments that highlighted the value of the nation's cultural identity, leaving a deep impression in the hearts of residents and tourists. Performing traditional costumes of ethnic groups to introduce, promote and honor the traditional costume and cultural values of ethnic groups living in the Northwest provinces; arouse aspiration and pride in the precious cultural identity of each nation.
