On May 17, 2023, Mr. Nguyen Van Toan, Standing Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, Head of the Provincial Steering Committee for Tourism Development, together with the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism, the Standing Agency went to check the situation tourism development in Kim Boi district. Welcoming and working with the delegation were Mr. Dinh Thanh Tung, Vice Chairman of the District People's Committee, Head of the District Tourism Steering Committee and leaders of some functional departments in the district.

The delegation went to survey and grasp the situation of tourism activities at a number of tourist facilities such as: An Lac Eco Farm & Hot Spring Kim Boi Resort, V'Resort, Vinh Tien commune and went to checking the progress of Venus Resort project, Vinh Dong commune, Kim Boi district.

During the survey, the delegation listened to the reports of the tourism service business with the advantages and disadvantages that the units are having to deal with. In particular, the leadership representative of An Lac Eco Farm & Hot Spring Resort Kim Boi hopes that the Provincial People's Committee will continue to pay attention and support to upgrade the connection route from resorts in Vinh Dong commune to 12B street to create favorable travel conditions for tourists.

In recent times, Kim Boi district has attracted many investors such as: Viet - ECO Hoa Binh Joint Stock Company; La Vong Group Joint Stock Company; Vietnam Financial Investment Group Joint Stock Company, Apec Group, Sun group, etc. invest in investment projects in urban housing, eco-tourism resorts in communes: Sao Bay, Nuong Dam, My Hoa and Thuong Tien.

Currently, Sun Group is implementing the project of a complex project of ecological urban areas, high-class entertainment resorts, cable cars and mountain trains in Lac Son and Kim Boi districts, specifically in Cuoi Ha, Kim Boi and Kim Boi Trading and Tourism Joint Stock Company (a member of Apec Group) take over and implement the Apec sky Villas Kim Boi project which will soon come into operation to serve tourists.

The total number of tourists visiting the district in 2023 is estimated to reach about: 250,000 visitors in the first 6 months of the year, of which 1,000 international visitors and 249,000 domestic visitors. Total revenue from tourists reached about 180 billion VND.

After the survey, the Head of the Provincial Tourism Steering Committee noted the results of tourism development in Kim Boi district and encouraged businesses to focus on investing in tourism technical facilities and suggested that Kim Boi district focus on propaganda and promotion of tourism products and services; support, care to solve some recommendations of difficulties and problems of enterprises. He directed the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to assume the prime responsibility for, and coordinate with the Kim Boi District People's Committee, interested in building new products such as building routes, advising on the organization of special and attractive events in order to attract and prolong the stay of tourists to Hoa Binh province in general and Kim Boi district in particular.
