During the National Day holiday ( four days, from September 1 to September 4, 2023), the total number of tourists coming to Hoa Binh reached 98,000 visitors including 5.207 international visitors, increased by 18.3%; Total revenue from tourism reached 80 billion VND, an increase of 1.3% compared to the 2022 holiday season.

On the occasion of the National Day holiday this year, Hoa Binh province took place many cultural and artistic activities at tourist areas and destinations, creating a joyful and exciting atmosphere, attracting the attention of many tourists inside and outside the province. Along with that, Hoa Binh province has focused on promoting promotion activities and promoting tourism images on the media; Organizing farm trips, press trips, and events to stimulate tourism, so that the source of tourists from large markets such as Ha Noi capital and the Northern provinces comes to Hoa Binh more and more.

Compared to other tourist areas and destinations throughout the province, Mai Chau tourist area is one of the destinations that attracts a large number of tourists with more than 20,000 visitors during the September 2 holiday this year. The holiday season with beautiful weather, which is also the time when the fields here are wearing a fresh green color, is the place that attracts many young people to this place.

Luxurious resorts and homestay community tourism destinations in the province continue to affirm their position and attraction to a large number of tourists. These destinations not only give visitors an interesting experience of natural beauty, but it also attracts visitors by the customs and unique beauty of the indigenous people here. Community tourism areas in the form of homestays in Tan Lac, Da Bac and Cao Phong districts have become attractive tourist areas and destinations for tourists.

Other localities in Hoa Binh province also recorded a vibrant atmosphere with thousands of visitors every day such as: Hoa Binh city welcomed nearly 13,000 visitors, Tan Lac over 11,000 visitors, Cao Phong 10,000 and Kim Boi over 8,000 visitors, etc. hotel room capacity in the entire province is estimated at 60 - 65%. High-class resorts such as Serena Resort (Kim Boi), Avana Retreat, Mai Chau Lord, Mai Chau Eco-Lordge, Ba Khan Village Resort (Mai Chau) reach 90-100% capacity.

The management of tourism activities during the National Day is focused on strengthening by Hoa Binh province. Departments, branches and localities have coordinated closely, actively and proactively to welcome guests, ensure security and safety for tourists, and improve the quality of services during the holidays in the province. Previously, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism issued a document instructing units and businesses to ensure tourism activities during the National Day holiday on September 2, requesting the Department of Culture and Information of districts and cities to guide governors of tourist areas, tourist attractions, tourist accommodation establishments, tourist transport units (road and waterway),restaurants serving tourists, shopping destinations, entertainment facilities entertainment in the area under their management to raise self-awareness, comply with the law, and check to ensure safety during the holiday season.

Especially in order to attract tourists during the September 2 holiday, tourist areas, attractions, and tourism businesses have also proactively invested in upgrading facilities, diversifying products, services to ensure human resources to serve tourists. Food safety and hygiene are emphasized, tourism service prices are listed in advance, services during and after holidays at tourism businesses always ensure quality; Do not let the situation of increasing prices, keeping hotel rooms and services, making illegal profits, negatively affect the image of local tourism services in particular and the tourism industry of Hoa Binh province in general.
