In order to effectively implement the Project "Building highland communes of Tan Lac district into provincial-level tourist areas by 2030, with a vision to 2050. On May 23, 2023, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism Hoa Binh calendar issued Plan No. 1075/KH-SVHTTDL on the implementation of the Plan to deploy the Project "Building highland communes of Tan Lac district to become provincial tourist areas by 2030, with a vision to 2050 ”.

Identifying this as an important task to gradually build the district's highland communes into provincial-level tourist areas. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has advised the Provincial Tourism Steering Committee to direct functional departments and branches to survey a number of potential locations in highland communes such as Quyet Chien, Van Son, and Ngo Luong, etc. to choose and invest in building community tourist attractions as well as places to stop and admire the scenery.

The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has mobilized resources to support training in staging musical performances; shopping for costumes, props, and sound and lighting equipment; Guide the establishment of one performance team for Hay Duoc hamlet, Van Son commune; organized tourist English classes for community tourism destinations; Support equipping large trash bins to protect the environment; Develop publications and create introductory clips to promote the image of community tourism on media inside and outside the province. Organize a Famtrip delegation consisting of 35 travel and media businesses inside and outside the province to survey for four days and three nights to survey and build tourism products.

Especially after the survey trip, travel businesses have built tourist programs in highland communes such as visiting and experiencing rafting and kayaking on U Ta dam; Explore and bathe in the Thac Trang waterfall, Thung waterfall; Hiking to explore the national scenic spot of Nam Son cave; Experience life with people in Chien hamlet, Van Son commune, etc.

The district's three highland communes include: Van Son, Quyet Chien, and Ngo Luong, about 20 km west of Man Duc Town, Tan Lac district, they are blessed by nature and the community here still preserves many cultural values. Traditional culture associated with Muong people's identity such as ancient stilt houses, household utensils, costumes, fine customs and traditions, traditional festivals, Mo Muong performances (Muong traditional epic), folk songs, folk games, and cuisine. This is a resource to develop eco-tourism, community tourism, and discovery tourism, contributing to creating jobs, improving and enhancing people's income and life. In 2022, the Provincial Party Standing Committee issued Resolution No. 13-NQ/TU on building highland communes in Tan Lac district to become provincial-level tourist areas by 2030, with a vision to 2050.

In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will pay attention and mobilize resources to support training and development of human resources; building tourism products and programs; Promote propaganda and promotion to attract tourists to highland communes and soon make highland communes of Tan Lac district into tourist areas by 2030.
