From November 17-19, 2023, Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association participated in displaying a tourism promotion booth at the 2023 Expanded Northwest Provinces Community Tourism Village Festival at Lac village community yard, Chieng Chau commune, Mai Chau district, Hoa Binh province.

This is the second time Hoa Binh province has organized the festival. The festival has the participation of 10 tourist villages of provinces and units including: Hoa Binh, Son La, Lai Chau, Ha Giang, Lao Cai, Phu Tho, Ninh Binh and Vietnam Airlines Corporation with the participation of 10 districts, cities of Hoa Binh and Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association. During the three days of the festival, there were activities on booth display competitions to introduce cultural - tourism products, souvenirs, and OCOP products; Community tourism culinary competition; Demonstration of some traditional crafts, folk games and a beautiful photo exhibition of the Northwest provinces expanding in 2023.

Participated in exhibiting a booth at this Festival, Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association was arranged by the Organizing Committee to have a booth displaying photos, propaganda publications promoting tourism, and tourist destinations along with urgently practice promoting tourism business units of members of the Association. Many tourists came to the booth to learn information about Hoa Binh tourism and were introduced to destinations and tourism programs of Hoa Binh province in general and of businesses in particular.

Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association has mobilized its members who are tourism business units in Mai Chau district to reduce prices for groups attending the festival; Mobilize sponsors to sponsor a number of gifts for delegates to attend as well as participate in welcoming provincial association delegates to attend and contribute to the success of the Festival.

Hoa Binh Province Tourism Association has nearly 100 members who are business owners and individuals involved in tourism business in Hoa Binh. Currently, the association is actively encouraging members and businesses to make connections and invest efforts to exploit the potential and advantages of the province to build and strengthen tourism products and improve service quality, creating attractive images at destinations, attracting visitors, contributing to promoting provincial tourism. Business activities of member enterprises have new developments and are gradually improved in a sustainable direction. In the period 2015 - 2019, all target groups of the Tourism Development Program exceeded their targets. In 2022, after controlling the Covid-19 epidemic, the number of tourists increased again, the province welcomed over 3.1 million visitors, reaching 203% compared to the same period privious year, implementing 116.3% of the year's plan. Total revenue from tourists is about 3,100 billion VND, reaching 204.9% compared to the same period priviuous year, fulfilling 129.3% of the year's plan. By the end of the third quarter of 2023, the whole province has welcomed over 3.2 million tourists, reaching 91% of the plan, of which 320,000 are international visitors. Total revenue from tourism is 3,200 billion VND, reaching 79% of the plan.
