On the morning of April 26, the delegation of the Indian Embassy in Vietnam led by Mr. Sandeep Arya, Ambassador of India in Vietnam, visited and worked in Hoa Binh province. Receiving and working with the delegation, Mr. Nguyen Phi Long, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, leaders of the Provincial People's Committee and departments: Provincial Party Committee Office, Provincial People's Committee Office, Department of Planning and Investment, Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism.

At the meeting, Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee Nguyen Phi Long warmly welcomed the Ambassador and the delegation, and summarized the economic, political, socio-cultural situation of Hoa Binh province. Mr. Long,  Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee reviewed the long-standing traditional friendship between Vietnam and India that was painstakingly built by two great leaders, President Ho Chi Minh and Indian Prime Minister Jawaharlal Nehru built since the 50s of the last century. At the same time, reviewed the results of cooperation between Vietnam and India in general, and between Hoa Binh province and India in particular. Secretary of Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee highly appreciated the support of the Indian Embassy for the project of building a cultural house in Chang Trong hamlet, Hop Phong commune, Cao Phong district. This is a program with many social and political meaning, contributing to improving the quality of life of people in the commune.

Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee hoped that through this working visit, Ambassador Sandeep Arya will be a bridge to call for Indian corporations and investors to cooperate and invest in Hoa Binh. At the same time, continue to accompany Hoa Binh province in implementing cooperation programs in fields where the two sides have similarities such as tourism, culture and other potential fields.

At the meeting, on behalf of the delegation, Ambassador Sandeep Arya respectfully thanked the respectful and warm welcome of the leaders of Hoa Binh province. At the same time, propose and suggest to the Secretary of the Hoa Binh Provincial Party Committee on implementing and building cooperation programs between Hoa Binh province and Indian partner agencies and organizations in fields such as culture, tourism, economics, trade, training and education. The two sides agreed to organize Indian Day in Hoa Binh (Indian meeting in Hoa Binh) in the near future. Thereby, it aims to exchange and cooperate in culture, tourism, human resource training, etc. besides, it is also an opportunity for Indian businesses and investors to come to Hoa Binh to cooperate.

Before that, the Ambassador together with leaders of Hoa Binh province held the inauguration ceremony of the project to build a cultural house in Chang Trong hamlet, Hop Phong commune, Cao Phong district. During the visit, the Ambassador also visited the Hoa Binh Provincial Museum.
