Museum "Muong Cultural Space" is the first private museum about the culture of the Muong ethnic group. The Muong ethnic group has its own museum because this is a people with a long cultural tradition in the “great family” of Vietnamese ethnic groups. The museum has been funded, designed and built by its owner since the early years of the 21st century.
The museum has a display area with more than 3,000 valuable artifacts of the ancient Muong people such as: Gongs, urns, fishing tools, looms, water rods, hunting tools, household utensils, etc. All of these artifacts give viewers a deep understanding of the daily spiritual life, customs, socio-economic and cultural characteristics of the Muong over the centuries.
Not only discovering the unique cultural features, the architectural works of the Muong people, the unique collections, in addition, visitors also have the opportunity to enjoy the unique Muong ethnic dishes. These dishes carry the characteristics of Muong cuisine and are also familiar dishes of the ancient Muong people. Some of the specialties of the Northwest that cannot be missed in the meal are wild vegetables, grilled stream fish, hot upland sticky rice, and pungent Muong wine.
