Implementing Project Program 6: Preserving and promoting the fine traditional cultural values of ethnic minorities associated with tourism development in 2023. 

From August 25 to 28, 2023, Hoa Binh Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized a survey team to evaluate tourism potential, choose to build new, unique tourism products and promote them, tourism promotion and communication for ethnic minority and mountainous areas in Tan Lac district, Hoa Binh province. Attending the survey were representatives of Department leaders and specialized departments of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism of Hoa Binh; Representatives of district leaders and specialized departments of Tan Lac district People's Committee; Representatives of businesses, travel companies, and tourism business units in the province, domestically and internationally; Representatives of reporters from the Provincial Radio and Television Station, Hoa Binh Newspaper, Provincial Electronic Information Portal and a number of central and provincial newspaper and radio agencies attended and reported.

U Ta lake, an ideal destination for tourists rafting and relaxing

The delegation conducted surveys at different sites such as U Ta dam, Trang waterfall (Moon waterfall), Thung waterfall, and Chien hamlet community tourist site. Organized a walk from U Bo hill to Ao Mo and to Chien hamlet community tourist site; Survey walking routes, climbing mountains, exploring Nam Son Cave, etc. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism coordinated with Tan Lac District People's Committee to organize a conference to ask for comments and assessments to build products, tourism program. Travel companies have commented and evaluated each destination and proposed to connect the sites to build a tourism program to put into operation to serve customers. As a result, a specific tourism program has been developed as 

On the first day, in the morning, visitors move to U Ta dam where there is a large clear blue lake, on both banks are primeval forests for kayaking, rowing or camping, having lunch and picnics. In the afternoon, tourists move to Trang Waterfall. This is a provincial-level scenic relic. The waterfall on the first level is three meters high, pouring down, creating white foam amidst the fresh green of nature; On the second and third floors, there is a gentle slope with up and down steps and flowing water; To the 4th and 5th floors, the water flows winding, eroding each precarious rock under the canopy of ancient trees, in a wild landscape as beautiful as a watercolor painting. In the evening, visitors can move to Un’s house homestay in Nhan My commune to rest, have dinner and watch musical performances of the Muong ethnic people.​

On the second day in the morning, visitors will move to the Community Tourist Site of Chien hamlet, Van Son commune. In the morning, visitors climbed U Bo hill to explore Nam Son Cave National Scenic Landscape, a world of stalactites with diverse shapes such as stone columns, stalagmites, very unique stone curtains. Especially there is a clear blue lake located in the heart of the cave that fascinates many visitors. In the afternoon, visitors can join the walking program to the top of U Bo hill to admire the landscape of Chien hamlet from above and walk through gardens, farms, and fields to reach Ao Mo to rest and bathe. warm water before returning to stay overnight at the homestays of the Muong ethnic people in Chien hamlet.
