The statue of Uncle Ho is a unique architectural highlight on the journey to explore and experience the city by Da River. President Ho Chi Minh's monument is a magnificent piece of art, standing amidst the land and sky, bearing witness to the efforts and achievements in building the homeland of people in the province. Standing at the monument area offers a panoramic view of Hoa Binh City, overlooking the vast lake and the gentle Da River flowing peacefully like a silk ribbon downstream.

Hoa Binh City currently has 20 cultural, historical relics and scenic spots, including 12 sites classified at national and provincial levels. Among these, the national-level scenic spot is Tien Phi Cave situated atop Thuc Hill (also known as Thung Phi Hill), belonging to Group 7, Tan Hoa Ward. The cave captivates with its mystical natural beauty, featuring large and small stalactites and stalagmites sculpted by nature, creating impressive sculptures and unique architectural forms. On the left bank of Da River lies the national historical relic Hoa Binh Prison, located in Tan Thinh Ward. This site marks the atrocities of colonialism and stands as a testament to the unwavering spirit of revolutionary soldiers. It was also here that the first Party cell in Hoa Binh began its activities, with its name intertwined with revolutionary figures such as Le Duc Tho, Nguyen Co Thach, Nguyen Duc Tam, Le Quoc Than, and Nguyen Van Hau, etc who once operated within the prison cell.

Not only famous for its cultural and historical relics, tourists visiting Hoa Binh also have the opportunity to explore and experience the heart of Hoa Binh Lake. Every day, Bich Ha Port bustlingly welcomes visitors to explore Hoa Binh Lake; community tourism in Bich Tru village, Hoa Binh commune; and various destinations in Thau group, Thai Binh ward such as Cuc Thao valley or Muong Thau homestay. Visitors also try traditional Muong ethnic cuisine with flavors from the mountainous region, such as grilled hill chicken, river fish, sour bamboo shoots, rice wine, and bamboo-tube rice. Bich Tru is a village of Muong ethnic group, located near Hoa Binh Hydroelectric Plant and is considered as the gateway to the vast Hoa Binh Lake area. Bich Tru village features pristine natural landscapes with bamboo forests and Sim fruit trees (Rose myrtle tree)  by the clear blue lake, creating a perfect picture for tourists to explore. The village still retains traditional stilt houses, attire, and traditional festivals of Muong people. Women here are skilled and meticulous in traditional crafts such as weaving and knitting. The peaceful life of the locals revolves around farming. In the morning, people work in the fields or go fishing, and in the evening, they gather around the fire. The people are friendly, open-hearted, and hospitable. Therefore, Bich Tru village has long been a destination for exploration and enjoyment for those who love nature and rivers.
