The scenic tourist site of cave complex in Chua Tien area, Phu Lao commune, Lac Thuy district has been classified as a National Relic, about 85 km from Hanoi capital, with an area of 53.2 hectares. Visitors to the cave complex of Chua Tien are coming to the spiritual beliefs of the Vietnamese people. Every year on the 4th day of the first lunar month, the Tien Pagoda festival is held to open the festival, the festival time lasts until the end of the third lunar month.
Coming to Chua Tien Cave Relic Complex, visitors will learn about the customs of Mother Goddess worship, historical sites and caves named after saints in the worship of the Four Palaces, and at the same time explore the beautiful nature and is a place to keep traces of the ancient Vietnamese. The first point visitors come to is Trinh Temple to worship the Holly Trinity, who openly discovered this land, around the throne is covered by shady trees. About 300m northwest of Trinh Temple is the Mau Temple where Mother Au Co is worshiped. Every year, it attracts a large number of tourists from all over the country to come and pray to the Mother of God to grant favorable rain and wind, peace, prosperity and happiness to the nation.
Visitors from diferent places come to Tien Pagoda in the New Year festival
Tien Pagoda is the largest temple in this area built in 2007 with a total area of 1,122m² with a grand scale with a red, curved roof, wide view of the valley ahead. The system of Buddha statues is very elaborately installed and arranged in a very dark and quiet space. Located in the heart of the mountain to worship the Mau Long cave, the entrance on both sides of the cliff with countless stalactites hanging down many interesting shapes like a picture. Underneath the cave is the Temple stream flowing from the lagoon into the cave like a bending dragon. Leaving Mau Long cave to Tam Toa cave, with a length of about 130m, the cave is divided into 3 buildings, standing in front of the cave, visitors will be overwhelmed by a large space protected by a magical world of stalactites.
Next is the Tien cave where traces of the ancient Vietnamese people are still preserved, visitors will be able to enter the Father's gate and leave the cave in the Mother's gate, and then go to the Cung Tien cave at an altitude of about 150m above the ground to watch the shimmering and fanciful scenery. Coming to Tien Pagoda, visitors can not help but stop by Ong Hoang Bay Cave, Ong Hoang Muoi Cave remembering the great merits of the saints who fought against the enemy and defended the country. Stepping into the cave, we will see stalactites arranged in large strips with all shapes and colors, looking up at the ceiling with giant stalactites hanging down. Next are Thuy Tien cave, Suoi Bac cave, Chau Son cave, Niem temple, Linh Son cave, Thuong Ngan cave, etc, each spot has natural beauty and worships sacred saints in Vietnamese beliefs.
Inside Tien Cave
The scenic tourist site of the cave complex in the Tien Chua area is considered as one of the most popular tourist attractions. Therefore, every early spring, when coming to Lac Thuy, visitors not only come to Tien Pagoda but also have the opportunity to visit interesting historical sites and festivals such as: Money printing factory, festivals of Nieng and Voi temples. In addition, in the coming time, Tien Pagoda will cooperate with Huong Pagoda to build a cable car system to serve tourists visiting Huong Pagoda and Tien Pagoda, expanding tours, routes linking tourism development with neighboring provinces such as Ninh Binh, Ha Nam provinces.
