KE HAMLET COMMUNITY - BASED TOURISM

Ke hamlet belongs to Hien Luong commune, Da Bac district, located in Hien Luong Bay, a branch of Hoa Binh Lake. Ke Hamlet, far 10 km from Da Bac town, is home to more than 112 Muong ethnic households. Currently, the village has 40 households participating in the holiday service, of which there are 03 homestay service households. The remaining households participate in service groups such as: performing arts, renting kayaks, guiding visitors, etc. The unique indigenous culture and majestic natural landscape create the attraction of a community tourist attraction.

From here, travelers can cycle, walk or ride off-road motorcycles to other community tourism villages such as Sung hamlet, Da Bia hamlet, and then row rafts to tourist attractions along the lake.

The Muong's unique cultural features, along with the majestic and poetic natural scenery, create the attraction of a community tourist destination. When visiting Ke hamlet, travelers will experience interesting activities such as rafting kayak to see the lake, visiting the breeding center or the sacred Doi Co temple, and immersing in the cool water of the Suoi Trach waterfall, enjoying local products.

From here, visitors can walk or cycle, ride a motorcycle to other community attractions such as Sung hamlet (Dao people) about 15km, or Da Bia village (Muong people) about 12km and then take a boat from there to the lakeside tourist attractions of Mai Chau district. Ke village stream is also a tourist attraction in the summer. The clear water flows from the high mountains through the village and then pours into the lake of the Da River. On weekends, many young people or families from Hanoi come here to relax, take a bath and enjoy a barbecue at the campsite next to the stream.
